SSAE1SafeGuard World International is the first global payroll company to become officially compliant with the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16, which effectively replaces an aging SAS 70 standard.  Geared specifically to service organization controls, the SSAE 16 is intended to keep pace with the growing push towards more globally accepted international accounting standards. SafeGuard World is the first global payroll provider to complete and obtain the SSAE-16 Service Organization Controls (SOC) 1 report. We internally audit our service teams monthly, and we have an independent SSAE-16 audit each year.
